Tweede module Europese politieopleiding (en) - Hoofdinhoud

The 2nd module of the CEPOL seminar "Policing in Europe" took place from 24th to 28th of June 2013 at the German Police University in Münster. 23 participants from 18 different EU Member States attended the event.
Taking the example of German and Dutch cross-border law enforcement cooperation, during a visit to the Federal Police in Bad Bentheim the main features of international police cooperation were explained. Beyond that the participants discussed the European principle legal instruments, international jurisdiction, the main bodies of EUROPOL, EUROJUST, FRONTEX, FRA, CEPOL and COSI and the general outlines of the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice.
The farewell dinner and closing event took place in the nearby mansion “Steverburg”.
