⛔️ Europe should stop spending billions of euros of subsidies to livestock industry and the promotion of meat.

🐄🐖 Factory farming causes more emissions of greenhouse gasses than all cars, trucks, ships, trains and air planes combined. There is no way to achieve a zero-emission Europe without tackling factory farming.

💶 But instead of restricting factory farming, the EU sponsors it on a yearly basis with billions of euros of agricultural subsidies. This results in an even bigger livestock industry, even more emissions and even more animal suffering - and last but not least: even more deforestation worldwide.
