Minister Liliana Pavlova presented the Bulgarian Presidency Priorities Programme during today’s meeting of the Conference of Committee Chairs. The interest for the Chairs of the 22 EP Committees was related to the political priorities. The Bulgarian Presidency will work in a transparent and constructive manner with the European Parliament to achieve visible results for the European citizens.

The Conference of Committee Chairs is the political body of the European Parliament that can submit recommendations and proposals related to the European Parliament’s agenda. Minister Pavlova’s visit in Strasbourg continues with meetings with political parties, represented in the European Parliament - with the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats group and the European People’s Party group.

The Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency is on a three-day visit to Strasbourg for meetings in different formats, accompanied by Deputy-Minister Monika Panayotova, responsible for the European Parliament relations.
