Conference held within the scope of the Parliamentary Dimension of the presidency of the Council of the European Union
The COSAC plenary serves as a platform for the regular exchange of views on current European topics between national parliaments and EU institutions, in particular regarding the role of national parliaments in EU law-making. In addition, the respective interim report as well as a contribution and conclusions are adopted during the plenary.

De Conferentie van commissies voor Europese aangelegenheden (COSAC) is een conferentie van parlementaire commissies die twee keer per jaar bijeen komt om de rol van nationale parlementen in de Europese Unie te versterken. Zij komen samen in het land dat het voorzitterschap van de Europese Unie i vervult. Elk nationaal parlement binnen de Europese Unie heeft een commissie die zich bezighoudt met Europese Zaken. Ook het Europees Parlement i is in dit orgaan vertegenwoordigd.
