The Advisory Panel of the FRA’s Fundamental Rights Platform (FRP) will discuss the platform’s future development. It will also explore how cooperation between FRA and civil society organisations can have a greater human rights impact. The discussions with the Panel will run from 29 to 30 January at FRA. The Panel will also meet with the Advisory Board for FRA’s National Human Rights Institutions report. They will reflect on how to enhance cooperation between NHRIs and civil society. They will also discuss how to address civic space issues. The Fundamental Rights Platform is FRA’s channel for cooperation and information exchange with civil society organisations. It brings together over 700 civil society organisations from across the EU.
Dit agentschap i verleent de instellingen van de Europese Unie i en de lidstaten i bijstand en expertise op het gebied van de grondrechten. Dit moet hen helpen om bij hun activiteiten de grondrechten volledig te eerbiedigen.
Het agentschap is een voortzetting van het Europees Waarnemingscentrum voor Racisme en Vreemdelingenhaat en is sinds 1 maart 2007 in de huidige vorm operationeel.
