16 MEPs from the GUE/NGL group withdrew their signature from a motion of censure on the Commission which was announced in plenary on Thursday 12 May.
The drafted by Piernicola Pedicini i (EFDD, IT) said that the Commission has failed to comply with its legal obligation to publish scientific criteria for defining endocrine disruptors.
It was initially signed by a sufficient number of EFD, GUE, ENF and NI members. After the withdrawal, it doesn't meet the required number of signatures (one-tenth of MEPs) anymore and lapsed. The procedure is closed.
