From 24 September to 10 October, the eTwinning Weeks campaign encourages teachers from all over Europe to join a vibrant community of schools in Europe where they can get in touch with colleagues in other countries, exchange ideas, and plan collaborative activities.

Teachers can sign up for eTwinning via its online platform at www.etwinning.net.

eTwinning is part of the EU i's Comenius programme and has been designed to help schools and teachers connect, collaborate and involve their pupils in European school projects over the Internet.

Teachers across Europe can register all year long on the eTwinning platform. However, the eTwinning Weeks offer an excellent opportunity for newcomers to get extra support and inspiration with videos, guidelines, practice examples and ready-to-use project ideas.

European school collaboration made easier

In connection with the campaign, the area of the eTwinning platform where teachers and their pupils carry out their project activities has been updated to become more user friendly. A more intuitive and cleaner environment will make it even easier for schools to engage in cross-border collaboration and introduce innovative teaching methods.
