The Council of Europe aims to improve access to justice and rights for Roma and Travellers, and to empower Roma and Traveller women.

The 7th International Roma Women Conference from 25 to 27 March in Espoo, Finland will take stock of the implementation of the Council of Europe’s thematic action plan on the inclusion of Roma and Travellers (2016-2019). It also aims to point the way forward for the post 2019 strategic policy document on Roma and Traveller inclusion.

The agency will participate in several panels and discuss its work on discrimination of Roma and Traveller, and its upcoming report on Roma women with a focus on early marriage.

In a plenary session on new technologies, digitalisation potential equalizers or threats to Roma and Travellers, FRA will present its work on BigData: Discrimination in data-supported decision making.
